Importance of Translations Related to Religion
Translations companies provide a broad range of technical publishing and translation services to religious organizations. There is the need for highly accurate translations of sacred and religious texts. Original and interpretive texts from a wide array of religions like Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism etc. can be translated to various languages. The translation of religious documents gives an opportunity to people to know more about their as well as others' religions, can lead to major revisions in religious doctrines, and the recognition of a religion. Translations help the people to support the existence and spiritual nature of our ancestor Gods.

History of Religious Translations
Religious translation has played an important role in history. Since time immemorial, there are evidences of religious translations. Buddhist monks translated the Indian sutras into Chinese. In the Bible , there is the Hebrew word "keren,", which was translated as "horn" in a context where the meaning was actually a "beam of light." As a result, artists for years had shown Moses the Lawgiver with horns growing out of his forehead.

One of the first recorded example of translation in the West was way back in the 3rd century BC with the rendering of the Old Testament into Greek. The resulting translation is known as the Septuagint, which refers to 70 translators who were asked to translate the Bible. Each translator worked in separate cell, and the result was 70 identical versions. The Septuagint became the source text for later translations into many languages.

Saint Jerome was considered as a patron of translators in history for rendering the Bible into Latin. The Roman Catholic Church used his translation for many years. With the Protestant Reformation, there was the translation of the Bible into local European languages. This played a vital role in the split of Western Christianity into Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. The main reason behind this was due to dissimilarities between Catholic and Protestant versions of crucial passages and words.

Martin Luther's Bible in German and the King James Bible in English have still lasting effects on the cultures, religions, and languages of those countries.
